Could Parenting Be Right for You?

Choosing to parent is one of the most significant decisions a woman can make. If you are considering it, you probably have questions that feel too big, too personal, or too complicated to say out loud yet. That is exactly the kind of conversation we are here to have.

Thinking It Through

Reflecting on a few practical questions can help bring some clarity:

  • What would my day-to-day life look like with a child?
  • What kind of support do I have around me, and what would I still need?
  • What role is the other parent willing and able to play?
  • How would parenting affect my education, work, or housing situation?
  • What feels most difficult right now, and is that something that could change?

You do not need answers to all of these right now. Sometimes putting the questions into words is the most useful first step.

Community Referrals

If your needs extend beyond what we offer directly, we can connect you with trusted organizations in Flagstaff and throughout Coconino County, including resources for housing, financial assistance, and employment support.

Support is available for fathers and partners as well. Pregnancy affects more than one person, and we want the people closest to you to feel welcome and supported, too.
